It's All About our beautiful Rainy Lake

For 30 years, I’ve navigated the waters of Rainy Lake, guiding anglers and sharing unforgettable days. Through my work with Rainy Lake Fishing Adventures, I’ve spent thousands of hours navigating these waters in every season and condition imaginable. (Rainylakefishingadventures.com).

Now, I’m proud to expand my services to offer guided lake tours and excursions throughout Rainy Lake and Voyageurs National Park.

Being a fishing guide for three decades has given me far more than knowledge of where the fish are. It has given me an intimate understanding of the lake itself — its hidden bays, historic sites, island camps, wildlife patterns, weather shifts, and the stories that make this place so special. I know the safe passages through rocky shorelines, the quiet coves where loons nest, and the scenic routes that showcase the true beauty of the Northwoods.

I grew up on Rainy Lake, and this water has shaped my life. It’s not just where I work — it’s home. That lifelong connection, combined with 30 years of professional guiding experience, allows me to offer guests something more than just a boat ride. I provide a personal, knowledgeable, and safe experience led by someone who truly understands and respects this remarkable place.

Whether you want to explore the rugged beauty of Voyageurs National Park, learn about the area’s history, photograph wildlife, or simply enjoy a peaceful cruise on the water, I’m here to make your time on Rainy Lake memorable, comfortable, and uniquely local.

When you step into my boat, you’re not just hiring a tour guide — you’re exploring the lake with someone who has spent a lifetime learning its every turn.
