Being a fishing guide for three decades has given me far more than knowledge of where the fish are. It has given me an intimate understanding of the lake itself — its hidden bays, historic sites, island camps, wildlife patterns, weather shifts, and the stories that make this place so special. I know the safe passages through rocky shorelines, the quiet coves where loons nest, and the scenic routes that showcase the true beauty of the Northwoods.
